To Krista's Valued Clients:
On October 20th, after a long and difficult 6 month battle with cancer, Krista sadly passed away.
While she was going through her illness, she often shared that she was overwhelmed by all the support she was receiving. She was such a humble, down-to-earth person, so Krista being Krista, she couldn't believe there were so many people that cared about her and that wanted to help her. It took her by surprise - and brought her to tears on many occasions - that she had such an amazing community rallying behind her and her family.
From the bottom of my heart, and I know her husband, Mike, feels the same, thank you for all your love and support.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Krista on Saturday, November 30th from 1 - 4pm at the Greek Community Hall at 4648 Elk Lake Drive. It will be an informal gathering so drop in anytime (no dogs allowed). Please note that her obituary says it's on November 24th at a different location but it has since been changed due to a scheduling conflict with her sons football team making the Provincial championship.
If you wish to continue to support her family as they go through this heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe page page has been set up on their behalf as an education fund for their children.
Sincerely, Darcie, a long time friend of Krista's
